Auspicious dragon ushers in achievement, and golden serpent welcomes a new journey. On January 22, 2025, the 2024 annual meeting and 2025 new year party of Zonhonbio and Gensunbio was held successfully in the multifunctional hall of Zonhonbio. All members of Zonhonbio and Gensunbio gathered together to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new year, as well as celebrating the Spring Festival.

At the beginning of the conference, Dean Ma Yong delivered the annual address, leading all employees in reviewing the more than ten significant accomplishments achieved together in 2024. The year 2024 marked the “decisive year” for Zonhonbio’s second five-year plan and Gensunbio’s first five-year plan. Look back on the journey, we have remained steadfast on the frontlines of innovative drug research and development, striving to advance steadily along a distinctive path of innovation with core competitiveness. Looking ahead of 2025, we will continue to uphold the principle of “clinical value as the most important thing”, further strengthening Zonhonbio’s unique technological platforms and nurturing our core competitiveness. We will accelerate the progress of innovative drug R&D, clinical trials, and industrial transformation, adhering to the principles of continuous improvement, unity of knowledge and action, and determined perseverance.

Next, Dean Ma Yong announced the winners of the “2024 Authorized Patent Award,” ”2024 Outstanding Newcomer Award”, “2024 Outstanding Employee Award”, “2024 Outstanding Team Award”, “2024 Dean’s Special Award”, and “2024 Most Outstanding Team Award”. Amidst enthusiastic applause and congratulations, representations, representatives of outstanding employees and teams took the stage to receive their awards and posed for commemorative photos.

As the applause honoring outstanding employees faded, the Zonhonbio and Gensunbio 2024 Annual Conference concluded successfully, and the much-anticipated 2025 New Year Party commenced. This year’s party opened with a documentary titled “Psaaing Down Knowledge, Igniting the Flame of Growth,” produced by the “News Team” of Zonhonbio. Through the familiar smiling faces and busy figures captured on screen, we witnessed the tangible bonds of mentorship forming before our eyes, connecting Zonhonbio’s past and future.

Next, a series of spectacular performances followed: talented colleagues took the stage with vibrant red ribbons and lively rhythms, delivering an electrifying dance, Auspicious Beginning, which drew thunderous applause. A solo performance of the Japanese song Tomorrow through challenges. The song Beautiful Springtime transported everyone into a radiant springtime scene, filling the room with boundless energy and joy. The trendy and energetic dance APT, performed by Zonhonbio’s talented young girls, set the stage ablaze with their dynamic moves, pushing the atmosphere to its peak.

Among the Zonhonbio family is a group of shining stars who work tirelessly from dawn till dusk on the R&D frontlines. Their performance of The Dedication Alliance vividly portrayed their daily work, showcasing their unwavering commitment in every challenging moment.

Additionally, this year’s interactive audience game, Classic Line Challenge, featured two competing teams reenacting famous scenes from movies and TV shows. The hilarious performances by Zonhonbio’s “Oscar-winning” actors had the audience roaring with laughter and applause.

During the much-anticipated lucky draw, all colleagues who did not win the first, second, or third prizes had another chance to enter their tickets for a shot at the grand prize. As the winners of the first, second, and third prizes were announced one by one, suspense and excitement filled the air. Finally, amid eager anticipation, the grand prize was drawn, sending the crowed into a frenzy of cheers, screams, and applause, transforming the venue into a sea of jubilation.

Amidst waves of blessings and music, the hosts declared the 2024 New Year Party a resounding success.
